(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian troops are using tanks, cannon and rocket artillery to open fire on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Zaporizhzhia region. Over the past day, they have attacked 148 times. The relevant statement was made by Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration on telegram , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Over the past day, the enemy has attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 148 times, using tanks, rocket and cannon artillery all over the contact line,” the report states.
According to the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian occupiers shelled civil infrastructure near such settlements as Znachkove, Derezivka, Mala Tokmachka, Olhivske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Chervone, Shevchenko, Plavni, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamianske, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Charivne, Malynivka, Shcherbaky, Temyrivka, Bilohiria, Poltavka and Stepove.
Fourteen reports came on civilian houses (apartments) and civil infrastructure objects destroyed in Russia's shelling of the Zaporizhzhia region.
