brandy nicole , a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and mother of four, is set to join Shawn Fair on stage for the Leadership Experience Tour as they inspire and empower audiences to overcome their past traumas and build a healthier, happier life.
Brandy is an upcoming graduate of Clayton State University with a degree in Integrative Studies and a minor in Psychology. She is also the founder of the non-profit organization A World of Poise, which helps teen girls discover their poise, power, and purpose. Brandy served in the United States army as a behavior health specialist for six years and is now a chemical dependency counselor assistant, a certified case manager, and a certified trauma recovery coach.
With ten years of experience in behavioral health and as a survivor of childhood rape, being a fatherless child, teen pregnancy, divorce, depression, and a failed suicide attempt, Brandy became passionate about helping others overcome their trauma through fitness. This led to the creation of traumafit , a program that encourages and inspires women to face and conquer their trauma while creating healthy healing and building dynamic physiques.
Brandy is also a NASM-certified personal trainer and an NPC Fitness bikini competitor, serving as a reminder to herself that she can conquer all things designed to destroy her. She also released her first novel titled“Becoming Your Better” in December 2022, which takes readers on her personal journey of trauma and encourages them to use her unique steps in BECOME to become their better selves.
In addition to her work on stage with Shawn Fair, Brandy also has a six-week online course called“Get Fit, Get Healed,” which helps women heal from past trauma through the power of fitness.
“I use the power of fitness to help women heal from their past trauma. Through this process, we face fear, shame, generational curse, soul ties, and much more head-on boxing style,” Brandy shared.“My brand came from a personal and intimate place in my heart that wants to help women overcome major traumas keeping them bound. After a personal journey of healing using fitness, I discovered that I was able to release toxins internally and externally from punching my trauma directly in its face.”
Brandy's message is one of hope and encouragement, reminding readers that they are not alone in their struggles and that with the right commitment, they can feel good, be good, and look good if they trust the journey.
