Saudi Ports Authority, Marasi cooperate to create Seafarers Club


(MENAFN) The Saudi Ports Authority, also known as Mawani, has inked an agreement with Marasi Marine Services Co. to create Seafarers Club at Jeddah Islamic Port, King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam as well as Ras Tanura Port.

Based on a Saudi Press Agency report, the Seafarers Club is going to be created to supply residential as well as entertainment services to domestic and international vessel crews and global exporting lines.

This is going to develop port services in the nation, along with the targets highlighted in Vision 2030.

The Seafarers Club is going to have many amenities such as a hotel, call centers, cafes, entertainment halls, various restaurants, a food commodity store, in addition to a health club.

The club is going to also have trade and banking facilities, in line with locations to supply integrated pharmaceutical as well as medical services.

Mawani has been operating sustainably to reinforce the stance of Saudi ports as a part of the Kingdom’s National Transport and Logistics Plan.
