Tehran to host national commemorative ceremony for leader of IRGC Quds Force


(MENAFN) Iran is going to host a national commemorative ceremony on the third anniversary of the assassination of the leader of the IRGC Quds Force.

The ceremony is going to be hosted at the Grand Mosalla Mosque of Tehran on the 3rd of January.

Hamidreza Moqadamfar is responsible of the popular campaign for the third anniversary of the murder of leader Qassem Soleimani.

While giving a speech at a press meeting on Sunday, Moqadamfar stated that the ceremony is goingt o involve a number of plans such as grassroots campaigns targeted at honoring the assassination of General Soleimani.

“Haj Qassem Soleimani sought to elevate the Islamic revolution and considered Iran a shrine. He considered Iran to be the owner of the holy shrines and he believed that if Iran is damaged, many holy shrines will be damaged,” Moqadamfar stated, in line with Mehr News.

He also mentioned, “He is always alive. He is a national hero and a hero of the Islamic Ummah and will remain a hero. He has forever become a role model for free-thinking people.”

The official pointed out that “We need Haj Qassem today because he is both a symbol of Iranian identity and a symbol of Islamic identity and values.”
