Arab League Condemns Israel Deporting Human Rights Lawyer

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Dec 20 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmad Abul-Gheit strongly condemned on Tuesday, Israeli Occupation forces forcibly deporting human rights lawyer and activist Salah Hamouri to France.
In a statement, Abul-Gheit stressed that deporting Hamouri violates international and human right laws, and warned against tolerance with the possibility that Israel will continue taking immoral actions in dealing with Palestinians.
He called on the international community to take a strong and unified stand against Israel and their violations as they go against human rights.
Israeli authorities deported French-Palestinian human rights lawyer, Salah Hamouri on Sunday, after having been held in prison without charge since March. (end)
