Energy minister: Saudi-Chinese ties experience ‘qualitative leap,’


(MENAFN) Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman on Wednesday stated that the ties among his nation and China are experiencing a quality leap, replicating the eagerness of the two nations’ leaderships to improve them at all levels.

In comments to the Saudi Press Agency throughout the Saudi-Chinese Summit in the capital of the Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdulaziz mentioned that the nation has robust and powerful strategic ties with China in several sectors, the most important of which is energy.

China has become the highest destination for Saudi oil shipments as part of the high capacity of trade exchange among the two nations, with carried on yearly expansion throughout the last five years, he stated, also mentioning that Saudi-Chinese energy relations involve multiple mutual investments.

China’s leader Xi Jinping reached in Saudi Arabia previously on Wednesday as part of a three-day trip to the nation after he summoned by King Salman to join the summit, which is going to continue until Dec. 9.
