(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, Nov 30 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's new Ambassador to Cyprus Abdullah Al-Kharafi presented his credentials to President Nicos Anastasiades on Wednesday.
Al-Kharafi conveyed to the Cypriot President the greetings of His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Crown Prince, Kuwait Embassy in Nicosia said in a statement received by KUNA.
Al-Kharafi affirmed that Kuwait attaches great importance to its ties with Cyprus, expressing aspiration for more cooperation in various fields.
On his part, the Cypriot president expressed a similar desire to deepen bilateral relations in all fields.
He also expressed gratitude for Kuwait's support to Cypriot issues, according to the statement. (end)
