The boxes are customized to meet each pup's unique needs and help them stay happy and healthy.
Every dog owner knows the struggle of finding the best products for their pups. Not only is the current market saturated with mass-produced, low-quality items, but most manufacturers are sketchy factories with no supply chain visibility. Options are extremely limited, and many dog owners are left with no choice but to purchase what's available. Pawgle, a pet subscription service company, says there's no need to settle for less with its thoughtfully curated eco-friendly subscription boxes.
“We couldn't find an eco-friendly option when we got our dogs during the pandemic, so we decided to change that,” says the visionary team behind the brand.
Unlike other pet subscription service companies, Pawgle takes its supply chain seriously. The brand differentiates itself by partnering with select vendors and logistics providers with ethical, sustainable, and safe practices that meet the team's strict environmental and moral standards. Most of their partners are locals from the US and Canada to reduce carbon emissions. When working with overseas suppliers, Pawgle requires certifications and information on their worker's conditions to ensure they comply with local laws and every part of the supply chain is visible.
The company has also partnered with EcoCart, a San Francisco-based startup that helps brands offset their carbon footprints. According to Pawgle, since many of their partners offset their carbon emissions with their packaging, purchases end up being carbon-negative – a true game changer for the pet owners and the planet. Moreover, Pawgle reinvests 1% of all its revenue into developing better carbon offsets. They are currently supporting the Amazon Rainforest Protection initiative.
Inside Pawgle's boxes are healthy but yummy treats and durable dog toys that keep dogs entertained and mentally stimulated. The plush toys are hand-sewn and selected based on the pup's chewing style and unique personality. An intake quiz helps the team determine the needs and personality of the pet, enabling them to tailor the boxes to fit the pup's needs. Themed boxes are available.
Aside from treats and toys, the boxes contain a special surprise selected to help owners keep their dogs happy while protecting the planet.
All subscription boxes are shipped in recyclable and compostable packaging on the first week of each month. The packaging is made from recycled materials and printed using earth-friendly ink. Pet owners can rest easy knowing they are making conscious decisions to support green, eco-friendly initiatives every time they purchase a subscription box.
