Iranian leader returns to Tehran while FM stays in US to grow diplomatic ties


(MENAFN) While Iranian leader Ebrahim Raisi came back to Tehran from New York on Friday, his foreign minister remained in the U.S. to chase active, dynamic as well as stable diplomacy.

Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian gathered with 17 of his equivalents from Europe, West Asia, Latin America, as well as Africa on Friday and Saturday alone.

This is on top of contributing in 13 gathering that Leader Raisi had with leaders and primers on the offshoots of the United Nations General Assembly.

On Friday and Saturday, Amir Abdollahian gathered with the foreign ministers of Austria, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Jordan, Brazil, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Eritrea, Armenia, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Iraq, as well as Syria, and Peter Maurer, leader of the global Committee of the Red Cross

The head diplomat also gave a meeting to Iranian journalists staying in New York in the middle of his busy schedule and declared the text sent by the Americans in latest days to regain the 2015 nuclear deal, formally urged the JCPOA.
