Four Health Workers Killed When Evacuating Civilians In Kharkiv Region

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Four health workers have been killed when evacuating civilians in the Kharkiv region.
The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The occupiers cause merciless terror against civilians. In the village of Strileche, Kharkiv district, medics were attempting to evacuate psychiatric hospital patients. Russians opened massive fire during evacuation. According to the preliminary data, unfortunately, four health workers were killed and two patients injured,” Syniehubov wrote.
In his words, even under enemy fire, risking their own life, health workers tried to save patients. Thirty patients were evacuated, but there are over 600 patients in this facility in general.
A reminder that, on September 17, 2022, Russian troops launched a missile strike on the Kharkiv region's Chuhuiv. An 11-year-old girl was injured and later died at hospital.
