War Update: 12 Invaders Killed, Enemy Command Post Hit In Ukraine's South


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian troops units eliminated 12 invaders and an enemy command and observation post.

This is stated by Operational Command South , Ukrinform reports.

'The enemy's army has lost 12 tanks, three armored vehicles, and an ammunition depot,' the report says.

The command and observation post of the battalion tactical group of the 33rd motorized rifle regiment and the 7th military base was hit.

Enemy losses are being further verified.

The Command reported that the Russians tried to compensate for the lack of success on land with air and missile strikes.

Ukrainian positions were attacked six times by enemy helicopters and attack warplanes. No losses were reported.

The Russians hit a railway station in Dnipropetrovsk region with air-launched missiles. Passenger cars caught fire, while nearby buildings, power lines, and cars were damaged. Over 20 people died and about 50 people were injured. The report is being clarified.

On the evening of Wednesday, Mykolaiv was attacked by Smerch MLR systems. The strike targeted local port infrastructure. No casualties were reported, while the scale of destruction is being verified.

Ukrainian aircraft delivered four strikes on enemy manpower, weapons, and equipment clusters in the Beryslav district, in particular, on the air defense systems deployed in Nova Kakhovka.

Missile and artillery units struck the Kakhovka Bridge. The damage inflicted is being clarified.

As reported, on August 23, in Mykolaiv region, Russian invaders again shelled a number of communities, injuring nine civilians, including two children.
