Ukrainian Military To Get UAH 70B In Payments For July

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Cash payments to the Ukrainian military for July will grow by 15%, to about UAH 70 billion.

Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar said this at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine - Ukrinform.

'For July, compared to June, we expect an increase in the total volume of payments - around 15%. In total, they are expected at about UAH 70 billion,' Maliar said.

She recalled that last year, the state budget for 2022 envisaged UAH 130 billion in spending to the Ministry of Defense, with UAH 63 billion already spent on financial support in June and UAH 70 billion in July.

Maliar also said that payments to the military for June were made in July according to schedule, despite all the problems in the economy caused by Russia's all-out invasion of Ukraine.
