Juul, FDA put on hold court case while e-cigarette prohibition postponed

(MENAFN) The Food and Drug Administration and Juul confirmed to postpone their court fight while the administration renews its review of the firm’s electronic cigarettes.

The contract comes one day when the FDA placed a hold on its initial order prohibiting Juul's goods from the market, stating that Juul's application guaranteed “additional review.”

Juul can carry on selling its e-cigarettes for now, in line with the federal court filing.

“With this administrative stay from the FDA now in place, we continue to offer our products to adult smokers while we pursue the agency’s internal review process,” Juul manager Joe Murillo stated.

The FDA called for Juul to remove its goods from the market on June 23. After a day, a federal appeals court temporarily stopped the government restrictions as Juul's called.
