North Korea fires eight missile systems into East China Sea

(MENAFN) South Korean media stated Sunday that North Korea fired at least eight short-range missile systems into the East Sea.

According to the state-run news agency YNA, this is the third provocation since the installation of new South Korean President Yoon-Seok-yeol previous month, and the 18th since the start of the current year.

Military officials are looking into the launch's specifics, including as the missile's range and altitude, according to the report.

The agency also mentioned that military officials think that much of the groundwork for North Korea's seventh nuclear test has just been finished, and that an order to launch is awaiting North Korean leader Kim Jong-approval.
