FBI discovers 'ISIS plot’ to kill George W. Bush


(MENAFN) An Iraqi national residing in the United States has been accused with plotting the assassination of former President George W. Bush. He is accused of plotting to let associates of the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) enter the nation and murder the former leader.

Based on the United States Department of Justice, Shihab Ahmed Shihab Shihab, 52, was detained on Tuesday by an FBI terrorist task team for " aiding and abetting a plot to murder former United States President George W. Bush," among other counts.

Shihab allegedly went to Dallas, Texas earlier the current year to spy on Bush's residence, and in late last year, whereas working with confidential FBI sources, took tens of thousands of dollars to assist bring IS fighters into the nation across the southern frontier.
