São Paulo – Twenty-six Arab companies from Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Tunisia will exhibit their products in the supermarket fair APAS Show 2022 in São Paulo, Brazil, from May 16 to 19. The Arab companies will be scattered across the two stands of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) that together span for 150 square meters of space hired for the exhibition. “For the first time we'll have two stands at APAS due to a higher demand for space. This creates pretty good expectations, so I believe the number of visitors and the amount of business will be large considering that the last edition was back in 2019,” said Daniella Leite, New Business director of the ABCC.

One company from Tunisia, 13 from Egypt, seven from Jordan and two from the UAE will show products like spices, teas, dates , Arab pastries, dried fruits, raw fruits, peppers, dried tomatoes, olive oil , olives, coffee , frozen fruits and vegetables, canned food, and even cosmetics .

The ABCC has participated in APAS Show since 2016, and every year it has brought more and more Arab companies and expanded its stands.“This is a very important show to do this connection, to bring Arabs to Brazil to exhibit their manufactured products, thus raising awareness and trying to generate business – that's our goal,” said Leite.

The director pointed out the relevance of in-person events for doing business with the Arabs.“We noticed how willing the businesspeople are to join in-person appointments, both the Brazilians during the Expo 2020 Dubai and the Arabs now coming to APAS,” she said.

Besides the program at the APAS Show, two Arab delegations, one from Egypt and another one from Jordan, will have business appointments organized by the ABCC during the period. The activities will include workshops, seminars, B2B meetings, and technical visits.

On the 17th at 8:30 am, the event“Discovering the Opportunities in Egypt's Food Industry” will take place featuring the Egyptian delegation followed by B2B meetings at the ABCC. On May 18 at 8:30 am, the seminar“Jordan and Brazil – Challenges and Opportunities” will take place with the Jordan's delegation at the ABCC. Brazilian companies interested in importing products from both countries can register for the events and B2B meetings by email at .
