QU-Health event honours distinguished female graduates

QU-Health at Qatar University has organised the first talk show: A Journey to Excellence, with distinguished female graduates from its colleges, to shed light on their recent achievements and awards. They included College of Pharmacy graduate Hend al-Naimi (platinum medal for the education excellence award for university graduates across Qatar), College of health Science Public Health graduate Khaloud Mohamed S A al-Marri (gold medal for the education excellence award for university graduates across Qatar), College of Health Sciences, biomedical sciences graduate Dr Noura Adam Mohamed (L'Oreal-Unesco for Women in Science Middle East regional young talent award 2021).
The event was held in the presence of Health and Medical Sciences vice-president Dr Asma al-Thani, College of Pharmacy dean Dr Feras Alali, assistant dean for Student Affairs Dr Alla El-Awaisi, College of Health Sciences dean Dr Hanan Abdel Rahim, and department heads, students and graduates from QU Health colleges. QU's Media and Publication Department head Khawla Mortazavwi was the moderator.
At the end of the dialogue, Dr Hanan Abdul Rahim and Dr Feras Alali honoured the distinguished graduates on behalf of Dr Asma al-Thani. Rawda Abdul Aziz al-Thani from the College of Pharmacy and Al Anoud al-Baker College of Medicine were recognised for receiving the gold medal for the Scientific Excellence Award in the student category of school.
