Traffic lanes reversed as thousands flock to the interior

The inversion of traffic lanes to accommodate more than 100,000 vehicles heading to the interior for Holy Week began at 6 am on Thursday. They will join the 16,000 who had already left under the watchful eyes of thousands of police officers with their ticket books at the ready. Sinaproc agents will monitor beaches and rivers as access is relaxed due to the fall in covid-19 cases.
