AMMAN — HRH Princess Dana, president of the Petra National Trust (PNT) and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Cultural Heritage, on Sunday attended the graduation ceremony of Heritage for Yemen's Generations project, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the ceremony, the princess handed accreditation certificates to graduate teachers.

The project will support the Yemeni Ministry of Education in implementing the cultural heritage programme in 10 schools in the city of Aden at the beginning of next May.

The project featured an extracurricular programme for children of the age group 7-12 in Yemen and a training programme for Yemeni teachers and educational supervisors in Jordan to enable them to implement the programme in Yemen.

The project aimed to instill awareness among the participants of the importance of cultural heritage and enhance their sense of ownership and preservation of their heritage sites through interactive learning methods.
