Imposters is another Netflix show with themes that are similar to Inventing Anna. Inbar Lavi plays Maddie, a woman who marries wealthy men and then leaves with their money. Exra (Rob Heaps), her newest fiancé, has denied her access to his inheritance, complicating the issue and jeopardizing her ambitions. The series is a fun watch, and the character's motives are comical. Thereby, making for a pleasant watch although people are being fooled.

The series' central topic is whether Dr. Dunstch is simply incompetent or if he intentionally harms his patients.

Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes' con was considerably bigger than Anna Delvey's, and she really got the money that Delvey came close to getting. Holmes infamously became a Silicon Valley sensation by selling investors on a medical technology business whose product, a groundbreaking blood-testing machine, not only didn't exist but was physically impossible, as presented in Hulu's limited series. The Dropout is a lighthearted apologia for its subject with some humorous aspects.
