Afghanistan - 4 Indians detained for stabbing, robbing Afghan students

KABUL (Pajhwok): Four suspects have been arrested for stabbing two Afghan students in India's southern state of Karnataka, a media report said on Tuesday.

The four men on motorcycles stabled the Afghan students and robbed them of their mobile phones in the city of Bangalore on Saturday.

The students from Kabul — Quran Ali and Mohammed Shahid — are studying Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) at the Bangalore University.

The Hindu reported that police also seized two motorbikes, a dagger, two mobile phone sets and cash snatched from the Afghans.

Based on the victims' complaint, police analysed CCTV footage and detained the accused on Monday, the newspaper added.
