Bushehr exports merchandise worth USD8.928B


(MENAFN) Behrouz Qarebeygi, director-general of the state's (Bushehr) customs office, stated that 23.309 million tons of merchandise worth USD8.928 billion were exported from the region during the timeframe of 11 months, representing an upsurge of 4 percent in weight.

According to the authority, the state's significant exports were petroleum byproducts and gas condensate, meanwhile province's biggest trading associates were China, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, the Netherlands, Pakistan, South Africa, Brazil, as well as Persian Gulf littoral during the previously mentioned span of time.

He also stated that 460,000 tons of products valued at USD1.257 billion were shipped into the region earlier this year, representing a 20 percent rise in revenue as well as a 1 percent increase in weight over the exact timeframe last year.
