Ukraine - Enemy shell hits fire department in Luhansk region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In Shchastia, Luhansk region, the administrative building of a fire department was damaged as a result of the enemy shelling.

'From about 12:00 to 12:09 on February 18, unknown persons shelled Shchastia from the territory temporarily controlled by illegal armed groups,' the State Emergency Service of Ukraine informs.

As a result of the shelling, the administrative building of the 32nd State Fire and Rescue Department was damaged. In particular, the facade and drainage of the building were impaired by shrapnel.

No civilian casualties have been reported so far.

In the village of Artema, a shell hit a residential building. According to the State Emergency Service, no one was injured. Rescuers are working at the scene.

Fire and rescue units of the State Emergency Service in Luhansk region work closely with the military 24/7.
