SYDNEY — Founding partners Philip Dalidakis, Patrick Gibbons and Vanessa Liell (pictured) have come together to form corporate advisory firm Orizontas. Dalidakis is the former Victorian Minister for Innovation and the Digital Economy, Trade and investment and Small Business; former executive GM of corporate services at Australia Post and former deputy chief of staff to the federal Minister for Broadband and the Digital Economy. Gibbons is a former diplomat, policy advisor and business consultant with specialist expertise in climate change, energy, resources, environmental, investment and public policy issues. As co-founder and former CEO of Herd MSL, Liell led the growth of one of Australia's largest PR firms, which was sold in 2017 to Publicis Groupe.

SYDNEY — Tourism Australia has awarded One Green Bean a new three-year contract to manage the brand's UK public relations following a competitive pitch. The integrated PR, marketing and social media agency will lead the development and implementation of a communications strategy to position Australia as a highly desirable, must-visit destination as Brits eagerly await the reopening of the country's borders following two years of travel restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Tapping into the shared cultural ties between Australia and the UK while shaping perceptions of the Australian holiday, the agency will support Tourism Australia's mission to engage and convert key target audiences in the UK, creating bespoke campaigns and initiatives to support broader marketing activities in the market.

MELBOURNE — Thrive PR has rolled out a new program that allows employees to work in up to three of the firm's Australia offices, as well as the one in Auckland. The program, which is open to PR professionals anywhere in the world, includes participants working six to 18 months in multiple offices, flights, assistance finding accommodation and phone and data service. Participants will also be able to work under a hybrid model and have the flexibility to work remotely from their location of choice for up to a month. Airbnb, GoPro, Optus and Virgin Australia are partners in the program.

SYDNEY — Archetype Sydney has redesigned its office to include The Clubhouse, a dedicated space meant to foster collaboration, creativity, and connection. A departure from employees being tethered to their desks, the clubhouse style supports social and creative interactions key to maintaining the company's culture and standard of work. The objective of The Clubhouse is to make it attractive for employees to come together for things that can't be achieved on Zoom. The Clubhouse will become a destination for in-person connection, collaboration and creativity, bringing people together over special lunches, activities and wellness sessions that unite and inspire.
