Kazakhstan experiences period of difficult conflicts


(MENAFN) Kazakhstan went through an era of new violence and unease which obtained an intense impact on the populace and asked to weaken the constitutional command, as Berik Aryn, the country’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia stated.

He mentioned, it “is considered as an assault on our statehood”, however he further said that the case is now contained.

Aryn stated at a meeting with Arab News, “The situation in all regions of the country has stabilized and people are returning to normal life,” adding “law enforcement forces have released all previously seized government facilities. The main task today is the defense of our country and its citizens.”

Aryn reported, “On Jan. 2, 2022, peaceful demonstrations started in western regions of Kazakhstan, triggered by a spike in the price of liquefied petroleum gas.”
