Turkey delivers 210,000 Sinopharm inoculations to Togo


(MENAFN) According to Togolese experts, Turkey delivered 210,000 coronavirus inoculation shots to Togo as part of improved collaboration amid both nations.

The Turkish delivery of Sinopharm inoculation is to aid Togo in its current inoculation drive of its above 8 million residents.

In line with Moustafa Mijiyawa, Togo’s health minister, the inoculations, ceremonially given by Turkish Diplomat Esra Demir, was to strengthen recent inoculation program, they as well discussed the reinforcement of ties amid Togo and Turkey.

Mijiyawa also said "It is the concretization of the discussions on health between our two presidents some time ago."

UNICEF Togo tweeted “the donation is a promise from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.”
