Jordan, US talk development cooperation, climate change

Amman, Dec 5 (Petra) -- Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh and John Kerry, US special presidential envoy for climate, Sunday met in Amman and discussed bilateral cooperation, especially on climate change.
Khasawneh praised the US for its support for Jordan, highlighting the strategic ties between the two countries and expressing keenness to further them.
The meeting focused on strengthening Jordan-US cooperation, not the least of which is on the environment and combating climate change.
For his part, Kerry held high Jordan's efforts in upholding regional security and stability, emphasising the US's support on the environment and tackling challenges of climate change.
