It seems like foldable display devices are constantly battling adversity. Not only is the technology still maturing and very expensive, but its rise is also currently battling unfortunate global market and economic conditions.

The foldable market is on the cusp of a major expansion. According to industry sources, Oppo has been working on its first foldable for quite some time now.

As per reports, the foldable phone will feature an inward folding design like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Huawei Mate X2.

It's rumored to be equipped with Samsung's 8-inch LTPO OLED panel that offers a 120Hrz refresh rate and a 4500mAh battery.

Oppo's inward-folded smartphone could contain 50-megapixel triple cameras, and the foldable phone might be called Find N 5G.

If all goes well, we might just be on the cusp of a major foldable display market expansion that could really shake up the cutting-end, high-end, premium market segment of the industry.
