Russia’s ambassador justifies Iran’s need for nuclear agreement guarantee with US

(MENAFN) Russian Ambassador reports at meeting with the Tehran Times, “Some Iranian demands are very logical.”

He informed: “For example, they, the Iranian side, want to guarantee, let's say, in future Americans wouldn't repeat the same step as they did before. The Iranian side also needs some guarantees from the European businesses to fulfill and to implement all that contract. It is quite logical.”

Previous American president Donald Trump left the nuclear agreement with Iran, formally applying the Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), in May 2018 and he re-imposed the penalties, which the nuclear agreement lifted, applying fresh rules in renewed words.
