Stewart Lansley is the author of The Richer, The Poorer, How Britain Enriched the Few and Failed the Poor, Bristol University Press, 2021. He is a visiting fellow in the School of Policy Studies, the University of Bristol, a Council member of the Progressive Economy Forum and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences

His other recent books include The Sharing Economy, (Policy Press, 2016); Breadline Britain, The Return of Mass Poverty (Oneworld, 2015 - with Joanna Mack ) ; The Cost of Inequality (2011); Rich Britain (2006) and Poor Britain (with Joanna Mack, 1985). He is also a former executive producer in the current affairs department of the BBC.
