JMPC posts JD325mln in 9-month profit


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 27 (Petra) -- The Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) posted a gross profit of JD325.5 million in the first nine months of 2021, against JD86.9 million reported in the same period of 2020.
In a disclosure posted on the Amman Stock Exchange's website, the company indicated that its net profit for the nine-month period amounted to JD180 million against a loss of JD14.9 million in the corresponding period of the past year.
In the January-September period, the company sold 6.926 million tons of phosphate for an average per-ton price of $84.7, up by $22.5 year-on-year.
