Turkic Council Media Forum to be conducted in Istanbul in coming week


(MENAFN) The Turkic Council media Forum, held by the Turkish Communications Directorate, will be conducted in Istanbul from Oct. 22-24 with the topic “Deep-rooted Past, Strong Future.”

The directorate noted Sunday in a declaration that Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will speak to the participants through video link at the opening session of the forum.

A discourse at the forum’s inaugural will by conveyed by the president of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Ersin Tatar, Turkey’s Communications Director Fahrettin Altun and Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev.

Over 350 guests are projected to be present, comprising prominent media representatives, academics, senior officials from public institutions and organizations, social media influencers, and university students from Turkic Council members Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Hungary, which has observer status, along with Turkmenistan and the TRNC.
