Doha: Doha Academy schools celebrated World Teachers' Day during a ceremony organised by the School Management.

This year's celebration's theme was 'Teachers: Thank you for being part of the Doha Academy Family and for all your efforts during the Pandemic Crisis.' Teachers played an essential role during the pandemic in shifting to virtual learning platforms and providing the best learning environment to students.

The event started with a recitation from the holy Quran, followed by speeches delivered by Doha Academy Schools Principal and Senior Leadership Team members. A beautiful rendition praised the staff from all three branches of Doha Academy (Al Waab, Salwa, and DIKG).

The management team thanked every teacher and appreciated their classroom work and all other aspects of students' psychological and social life.

Video clips were played for several educators talking about their active role as teachers and leaders in the educational process. In addition, students of Doha Academy schools played videos delivering speeches and short notes expressing their gratitude to the teachers.

Commenting on this occasion, Harvey Trump said:“Teachers have a profound impact on each of us. Beyond our parents, they are the most influential figures of our childhood, inspiring and guiding our development for the years ahead. We would like to thank all the teachers on behalf of every student for their unwavering support, dedication, passion, and strength. Thank you for guiding us, inspiring us, and making us what we are today.”
