NEW YORK, Sept 23 (KUNA) - The UN Security Council (UNSC) strongly condemned the coup attempt in Sudan and reiterated its full support for the people of Sudan and their transitional government.
In a statement, the UNSC members affirmed solidarity with the transitional government in Sudan and its efforts to achieve the aspirations of the Sudanese people.
The transitional government of Sudan on Tuesday accused military and civilian figures loyal to the former regime of attempting a coup d'أ©tat. (end)
