Real estate price index in Saudi Arabia increases 0.4 percent in 2Q


(MENAFN) According to official data, the real estate price index in Saudi Arabia increased by 0.4 percent in the April-July period of 2021 in comparison to the previous month same time span.

A 0.8 percent improvement in the residential real estate prices was issued by the General Authority for Statistics the in the second three months as prices of commercial and agriculture properties dropped by 0.5 percent and 0.2 percent respectively.

A 1 percent increase in the prices of residential plots elevated the prices of residential properties, the report stated.

The Wafi program that regulates off-plan property activity in the Kingdom marked a report showing its performance in the January-June period of the year.
