Turkey's benchmark stock index ends high on Fri.

(MENAFN)On Friday, Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,392.91 points, rising 0.09 percent from the last session.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index soared 1.27 points to reach 1,383.25 points on Friday, increasing from Thursday's session of 1,391.64 points.

Moreover, the index's lowest worth on the day reached 1,380.02 points, and its everyday high worth stood at 1,392.91 points.

Additionally, the entire market worth of the BIST 100 amounted to more than 1.04 trillion Turkish liras (USD123.1 billion) by market close, including a day-to-day exchange rate of over 11.6 billion Turkish liras (USD1.38 billion).

Furthermore, 43 shares on the index improved, 51 declined, while six were fixed on the last business day of the week, in contrast to Thursday's session.

Private lender Garanti BBVA, automotive manufacturer Karsan, and iron and steel producer Kardemir logged the highest exchange rates.
