Govt Forms Panel To Clear New Construction Proposals


(MENAFN- Kashmir Observer) Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday constituted a Committee for clearing fresh construction proposals before they are placed before the competent authorities for administrative approval.

The committee comprises of Principal Secretary to the Government, Housing & Urban Development Department; Principal Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department; Principal Secretary to the Government, Public Works(R & B) Department; Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Jal Shakti Department; Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Estates

Department; Administrative Secretary, Planning, Development & Monitoring Department and Director General, Planning in the Planning, Development & Monitoring Department to be nominated by Administrative Secretary as Member Secretary.

“The Committee shall scrutinize the requirement of the proposed projects having regard to the existing un-utilized infrastructure in the Union territory so as to ensure optimum utilization of existing Government infrastructure,” reads an order.
