(MENAFN)According to the China Movie Data Information Network report, national animated film "White Snake 2: The Tribulation of the Green Snake," which is the newest cinematic production highlighted on the ancient Chinese legend of the White Snake, sustained on controlling the Chinese mainland box office chart on Tuesday.
"White Snake," was topped by Sequel to Light Chaser Animation's, which reached over 28 million yuan (about USD4.31 million) in box office, standing the total box office at 254 million yuan on the fifth day from the time when it inaugurated.
On the second place, "Chinese Doctors," was registered, which is a cinematic depiction of China's efforts in fighting the global pandemic, producing at least 18.38 million yuan on Tuesday, including its total box office with almost 1.19 billion yuan.
The animation "Agent Backkom: Kings Bear," marked the third place as a result to the 2017 "Backkom Bear: Agent 008," reaching 3.58 million yuan.
