Peruvian district of Arequipa registers two cases of delta coronavirus

(MENAFN)The government stated that Peru has increased the holdup of commercial flights from South Africa, Brazil and India till 11th of July to stop coronavirus from widening.
The second case of the Delta variant of coronavirus was registered in the country; as a result, the measure issued in the official newspaper "El Peruano" was accepted.
In addition, the government that firstly accepted the measure on 10th of May commanded that Peruvians coming from or through those countries should be quarantined in their homes for 2 weeks.
In June, the Ministry of health registered two coronavirus cases of the Delta variant in the Peruvian district of Arequipa, this led the government pushed to state an "extreme alert" to prevent infections.
