Jordan reaffirms necessity of political settlement in Libya


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Apr. 21 the Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi emphasized the nation's complete support toward all attempts to achive a political settlement in Libya.

The Jordanian official shared the remarks in a phone conversation with his Libyan counterpart Najla Mangoush.

He noted Jordan would keep shoring up a political settlement that Libyans concur on and can safeguard the nation, fulfill the ambitions of its people and keep security and stability.

Mangoush said to Safadi the most recent advances in Libya and the attempts to unite Libyan establishments and the incumbent administration's role in the transitional phase till the polls scheduled for Dec. 24, 2021.
