RIYADH, April 10 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia on Saturday executed three soldiers after a specialist court had found them guilty of "high treason", the kingdom's defense ministry said.
The three soldiers were convicted of high treason which "uncovered their collaboration with the enemy over plots against Saudi Arabia's security and stability," state-run SPA news agency quoted a defense ministry statement.
The soldiers have been put to death after a "fair trial" in line with the "rule of law and the proper administration of justice," added the statement, describing the soldiers' conduct as "heinous and alien to national values." (end)
