Doha: The Shura Council held its regular weekly meeting, via video conference yesterday, under the chairmanship of Speaker H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud, at the Council's headquarters.
During its session, the Council reviewed the report of the Services and Public Utilities Committee on a draft law organising health care services within the country.
After extensive discussions, the Council decided to return the report to the Committee for further study in light of the observations and inquiries presented by the Speaker and members of the Council before a supplementary report is submitted to the Council in this regard next session.
