India registers 100 COVID-19 deaths, 18,711 new positive cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) NEW DELHI, March 7 (KUNA) -- Indian government sources said on Sunday that 100 people died due to COVID-19 as 18,711 fresh positive cases were reported from across the country in the last 24 hours.
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that deaths due to COVID-19 mounted to 157,756 as total number of positive cases rose to 11,210,799.
The ministry said that 10,868,520 people recovered from the pandemic as it spread to 35 Indian states. (end)
