Iraq: Six deaths of COVID-19, 714 new cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, Jan 31 (KUNA) -- Iraq announced Sunday six deaths from coronavirus, in addition to 714 new positive cases in the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in a statement that the total infection cases throughout Iraq, including Kurdistan governorate, rose to 619,636.
The largest number of cases was in Baghdad with 247 cases, then Kirkuk governorate with 59 cases, Karbala with 53.
Meanwhile, total recoveries from 17 governorates reached 592,129, while the death toll reached 13,047. (end)
