Iraq COVID-19 cases up by 778, four deaths


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, Jan 23 (KUNA) -- Iraq's coronavirus deaths increased by four as the daily confirmed cases rose by 778, the health ministry said on Saturday.
This brings the caseload across the country's provinces, including the Kurdistan Region, to 612,870 as the death toll hit 12,988, a ministry statement read.
On the other hand, a total 579,838 people have been cured of the virus. (end)
