(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Dec. 19 (Petra)- A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Saturday, and the weather will be relatively cold in most regions across the Kingdom, with southeasterly moderate winds,the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Low horizontal visibility in the early morning hours due to the formation of fog over the highlands and parts of the Badia regions is forecast, with a possibility of frost formation in the early morning hours in the southern Badia regions, the JMD has warned.
On Sunday, the mercury is tipped to see another slight rise and the weather will be sunny and relatively cold almost countrywide, and the mercury will be fair in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the JMD pointed out.
On Monday, the weather will remain sunny and relatively cold almost nationwide, and fair conditions prevail in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, it noted.
Also on Saturday, temps in Amman will hover around 17 Celsius degree, slipping into 9C at night,while Aqaba will see a fair 24C, dropping to 12C during the night hours.
