Bahrain reports 162 new COVID-19 cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- The number of coronavirus infections in Bahrain rose by 162 over the past 24 hours, as compared to 175 others who recovered from the disease in the same period, health ministry data showed on Friday.
Some 341 deaths attributed to the virus have been confirmed in the Gulf island nation to date, according to government statistics, which showed that total recoveries have reached 84,510.
The number of people needing hospital care stands at 1,496, the data showed. (end)
