(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Algiers, November 24, 2020, SPA -- Algerian Minister of Energy, Chairman of the OPEC Conference Abdelmadjid Attarr, condemned the attacks on oil installations near the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
In a statement issued today by the Algerian Ministry of Energy, he stressed the importance of security of supplies, meeting demand for oil, and ensuring its flow to global markets, indicating that such attacks lead to disruption of global oil supplies.
He stressed that energy is necessary for the global economy as a whole, and that this kind of aggression will lead to disruption of global oil supplies, condemning any attack on oil installations in any OPEC member state.
