Covid-19 shuts down Palestinian embassy in Amman until further notice


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov. 22 (Petra)- The Embassy of Palestine here announced it has closed its doors, starting on Sunday, and its inability to process transactions until further notice, after a number of workers in its various departments caught coronavirus.
In a press statement, the embassy said the closure comes within its precautionary and preventive measures in place to preserve the safety of workers and people who seek consular services.
The date to resume work will be announced, as reopening will be posted on its website and its online platform to enable completion of transactions, applications, processed by the embassy's various departments and offices, the statement added.
