Jordan- Industrial producers' index down 7pct in first 8 months of 2020

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 18 (Petra) -- The Industrial Producers' Prices index dropped by 7.96 percent in the first eight months of 2020, amounting to 110.63 points compared to 120.20 points during the same period in 2019, according to the Department of Statistics (DoS).
A monthly report issued by the DoS on Sunday indicated that the industrial producers' prices index for August of this year went down by 8.59 percent reaching 109.78 points compared to 120.10 during the same month of last year.
The report also showed that the industrial producers' prices index for August of 2020 increased by 0.98 percent, to reach the 109.78 points, compared to 108.72 points in July of the same year.
